SALES REPRESENTATIVE OVERVIEW

A successful State Farm Agent is seeking a qualified professional to join their winning team as a Sales Representative. JOB SUMMARY:

Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, assessing client needs, advising potential clients on coverage options, and initiating insurance policies. Implement effective marketing strategies to meet production goals and collaborate closely with the service team to follow agency policies and facilitate sales.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build personalized client relationships by actively listening to needs and life changes.
  • Answer incoming calls, texts, and emails. 
  • Conduct outbound sales calls and manage inbound referrals from the Service Team.
  • Collaborate with the Service Team to schedule and facilitate sales meetings.
  • Maintain professionalism and pivot to other insurance lines by asking open-ended questions.
  • Request referrals and reviews to grow the client base.
  • Respond to customer inquiries by the end of the business day.
  • Utilize marketing searches and cold calling to generate sales.
·         Maintain detailed records of sales including declination of coverages.


SERVICE TEAM SUPPORT:
Sales team members collaborate with Service Team teammates who assist with underwriting memos, BOD tasks, and case management.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have a Property and Casualty state insurance license.
  • Complete State Farm training and obtain agreement within the first two weeks of employment.
  • Initiate Life and Health licensing process within 60 days if not already licensed.
  • Prior insurance experience preferred but not required.

Compensation: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
